The objective of this position is to assemble and sterilize all instruments, instrument trays, utensils, and linen packs. Perform distribution functions as it relates to case carts and sterile instrumentation.
Essential Job Duties:

1. Perform decontamination, inspection, and assembly of instruments and equipment per manufacturer and regulatory standards.
2. Operate sterilizers, washers, and perform high-level disinfection (HLD) with complete accuracy; conduct daily quality assurance checks.
3. Document all work and case cart builds in SPM instrument tracking software; maintain accurate inventory records.
4. Prepare and complete case carts using patient-specific pick lists; communicate missing items for timely resolution.
5. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure proper handling of loaner equipment and requisitions.
6. Perform scheduled and cyclic inventory of instruments and supplies to support OR readiness.

Skills and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months minimum working in a sterile processing or operating room environment. - Provisional/ full CRCST Certification or the ability to achieve CRCST Certification preferred
