Part Time Cook and Housekeeping for Executive Couple in South Boston $800 - $900 per week

A busy professional couple is seeking a dedicated and organized Cook and Housekeeping to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and occasional errands. Ideal candidate has prior experience in cooking and meal preparation; culinary training is a plus but not mandatory. Looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and proactive. Must be pet friendly, there are 2 cats at the home.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $40-45 per hour (on payroll)

• Start date: ASAP

• Benefits: 50 hours of paid time off annually

• Can use own car for errands or Car can be provided; public transportation access is also available.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday

• 20 hours per week

• Typical hours: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM (flexibility to finalize in advance) could be 10AM - 3PM or 11AM - 4PM

• No early mornings or weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

1. Meal Preparation & Cooking:

• Prepare 2-4 healthy dinners per week, focusing on dishes featuring vegetables, chicken, and other nutritious ingredients

• Marinate proteins and prepare components for evening meals

• Clean and organize the kitchen after cooking

• Optional: Develop a weekly menu (preferred but not required)

1. Light Housekeeping:

• Empty the dishwasher

• Maintain the kitchen's cleanliness and organization

• Laundry and other light housekeeping tasks

• Coordinate with professional cleaners who come 1x week for deeper cleaning needs

1. Errands & Grocery Shopping:

• Shop for groceries and household essentials as needed

• Run occasional errands as requested (e.g. drycleaning, package pickup/dropoff)

• Coordinate household and home maintenance appointments (e.g. HVAC or plumbing service appointments)

1. Pet Care:

• Care for and play with the family’s two cats

• Optional: available for additional house/cat sitting when clients are traveling a plus!

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow recipes or create meal plans if requested

• Enjoys working in a pet-friendly environment and loves cats

• Exceptional male candidates will also be considered

• Must be comfortable with light housekeeping tasks and running errands

• Provide 3-5 professional references

• Must have U.S. work authorization

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
