Occupational Therapist (OT)

An Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed in Grain Valley, MO.

  • Full Time Salary Range $75,000 - $83,500 (depending on experience)
  • Part-Time Salary is $45/hr

Responsibilities

• Full Time is Monday - Friday (8am-4:30pm)
• Part-Time is up to 24 hours per week
• Clinic Based, Pediatric Position
• Average of 7 full day clients as well as single service clients to meet efficiency
• Facilitates safe and comfortable learning in group activities
• Integrates an understanding of a child’s sensory, visual motor, and fine motor needs to provide education and accommodations which facilitate play and learning
• Fosters play and exploration to expand picky and restricted feeding
• Constructs meaningful and impactful learning activities through child-led play and interest-based learning
• Views all behavior as communication and inspires depth in holistic collaboration
• Work collaboratively with BCBAs, Speech Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists and other team members to provide an interdisciplinary approach to therapy services
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and reevaluations of clients referred to occupational therapy
• Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions according to individual needs
• Supervise occupational therapy students and maintain records
• Supervise COTA’s and OTA’s and maintain documentation as outlined

Requirements

• Registered Occupational Therapist in Missouri required
• Licensed in the state of Missouri
• Bachelors level degree or above
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR Certification
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with the pediatric population
