We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong healthcare experience and deep expertise in Databricks, AWS, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks. The ideal candidate will design and build robust data pipelines, support cloud data engineering initiatives, and work closely with business and technology teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Required Skills & ExperienceStrong healthcare industry experience (payer/provider/clinical/claims data). Advanced SQL proficiency for data analysis, modeling, and optimization. Hands-on experience with AWS native services for data engineering workloads. Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks Workspace and PySpark . Experience with job orchestration using Databricks workflows. Proficiency in implementing Databricks Medallion Architecture for scalable data solutions. Experience developing data engineering solutions on Databricks using AWS (or similar cloud platforms). Experience with Data Vault 2.0 based architectures is a plus (not mandatory). Hands-on experience with data migration projects is preferred (not mandatory).
Work EnvironmentMust be able to work onsite 4 days per week at the client location in Eagan, MN . Collaborative environment with cross-functional healthcare and data engineering teams.
