RRT Pay Range:
Entry Level: $27.09/hr
Mid-Level: $32.29/hr
Senior Level: $37.92/hr
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $4.50/hr
Weekends: $3.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus:
$20,000 – Full-Time Nights (1+ year experience, 2-year commitment)
$10,000 – Full-Time Days (1+ year experience, 2-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
Job Summary
We are seeking motivated Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) to join a high-performing acute care respiratory services team. This role involves evaluating patient respiratory needs, developing and implementing care plans, and delivering both routine and advanced respiratory therapies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans.
Set up, operate, and manage acute care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.
Administer routine and complex respiratory therapy treatments to patients of all ages.
Function independently during off-hours in the absence of a Team Leader.
Accurately document all respiratory therapies and patient responses in the EMR.
Maintain compliance with departmental policies, hospital standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a Vocational/Technical program or AMA-approved Respiratory Care program (Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred).
Active Florida State CRT license (RRT also accepted).
BLS (AHA) required at hire.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire.
Ability to meet physical demands, including prolonged standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and patient movement.
