Position Overview:

The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in the operational success of our dermatology practice, overseeing all aspects of daily management to ensure an exceptional patient experience and optimal staff performance. This leader will focus on improving patient workflows, enhancing collaboration among staff, managing financial health, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A successful Practice Manager will be a strategic thinker with a passion for transforming practice culture and promoting patient care excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including staff and patient scheduling, revenue cycle management, and ensuring occupational safety.
  • Support clinicians by managing work schedules and electronic medical record (EMR) templates.
  • Implement and update standard operating procedures to meet organizational policy guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, including HIPAA and safety standards.
  • Establish efficient patient flow procedures and monitor satisfaction through feedback and data analysis.
  • Promote strategic growth initiatives and maintain financial health by adhering to budgets and conducting variance analyses.
  • Supervise SITE staff, including providing training and support to clinical and administrative teams.
  • Foster a positive team environment with a focus on exceptional patient service and staff collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably within a medical or dermatological practice.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration is preferred; however, equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience with EMR systems; familiarity with Nextech and/or EMA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient care and satisfaction, with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Prior experience in dermatology or as a Medical Assistant is advantageous but not required.
