ABOUT THE ROLE

*This is a paid internship that will last 10-12 week during Summer 2026* As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will:

  • Work alongside our engineering team to select, design, and validate components, ensuring every part meets rigorous safety, functional, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in developing and designing components in a DC Fast Charger system to power electric vehicles, fleets, and other low to medium voltage applications
  • Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, certification plans, and essential engineering reports—transforming concepts into certified products.
  • Dive hands-on into product qualification, rigorous testing, and original design work. You'll identify proven technologies and apply them to create brand-new DC Fast Charger designs, all while documenting your process with precision technical data.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • Enrolled in a higher education institute with at least two years of studying Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Full time availability for Summer 2026
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across a variety of departments
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of and experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
