Job Description

At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in!

We’re seeking a Marketing Creative Director to lead the campaign and brand creative for our growing slate of Wizards Digital Games—including new AAA titles. This role partners closely with product marketing and studio leadership to bring ambitious new games to life through powerful creative campaigns.

You’ll guide everything from cinematic trailers and iconic, high-impact key art to performance creative and brand systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of visual storytelling, campaign strategy, and high-expectation players—and who’s shipped top-tier games before.

A day in the life as a Marketing Creative Director - Digital Games:

As the Marketing Creative Director for Wizards Digital Games, you’ll be the driving force behind how our games show up in the world. You’ll set the creative vision for trailers, key art, digital and social assets, and more working with both internal creatives and external agency partners. You’ll ensure that every campaign resonates with players emotionally, strategically aligns with business goals, and raises the creative bar.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing Creative for Wizards, collaborating on campaign development, aligning on brand direction, and helping shape the future of our digital games portfolio.

This is a leadership role focused on executional excellence and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll be a key voice in building our digital game brands from the ground up—and in shaping what creative leadership means at Wizards.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the creative vision for marketing campaigns across multiple AAA digital game titles.
  • Collaborate with marketing and studio teams to translate strategy into campaign creative.
  • Guide external agency partners and vendors to deliver world-class trailers, key art and digital assets.
  • Lead the direction of brand toolkits, campaign aesthetics, and creative guidelines across channels.
  • Maintain and evolve the identity of each title, ensuring consistency and emotional resonance across all player touchpoints.
  • Present creative work and vision to senior stakeholders, building alignment and buy-in at every stage of development.
  • Ensure creative work aligns with performance goals and supports full-funnel marketing plans.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in creative leadership for games, entertainment, or genre IPs.
  • Direct experience launching at least one AAA or AA+ video game —from pre-announcement through launch.
  • 5+ years managing and mentoring creative teams and guiding external agencies.
  • Expertise in campaign development, visual storytelling, and digital-first content.
  • Deep familiarity with trailers, key art, social creative, and player-facing branding.
  • A passion for gaming and a keen understanding of how fans engage with IP and community.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a high level of creative excellence, strategic thinking, and narrative instinct.
