We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Nephrology As a Locum MD in Nephrology, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise in Nephrology will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating patients with kidney-related conditions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse medical cases and contribute to the well-being of patients.

As a Locum MD in Nephrology, you will be involved in a variety of projects focused on delivering high-quality medical care to individuals with kidney diseases. Your role is essential in ensuring accurate diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patients' progress. Responsibilities:

Determine appropriate tests and procedures for diagnosing kidney-related conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with kidney diseases.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment regimens.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
Stay updated on advancements in Nephrology and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

Requirements:

Medical degree with a specialization in Nephrology.
Valid medical license to practice as a Physician.
Proven experience in diagnosing and treating kidney diseases.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 1 week per month

Level III trauma facility

Daily Volume: 3-9 consults

4-bed inpatient dialysis unit

CRRT available, plasmapheresis as needed

Support Staff: RNs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
