Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Assistant will perform general administrative duties to support all areas of the Human Resources department and will interact with other internal and external customers throughout Goodwill Central Oklahoma.

This is not a supervisory role.

Starting Pay:

  • $20 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Timely filing of documentation for personnel and benefit files.
  • Assist with mail outs for employee benefit packets.
  • Enter employee termination dates in Insure Oklahoma Database.
  • Provide set up and additional support for New Hire Employee files including making copies of materials and uploading documents into individual employee files.
  • Enter/remove new hires in Paycom.
  • Scan termination files into the company employee records database.
  • Responsible for the year-end review and storage of terminated employee personnel files.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures and safety rules/regulations at all times.
  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions and/or concerns in a positive, professional, and friendly manner. 
  • Additional administrative duties such as shredding, copying, mail distribution and filling in for team members when absent.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months related experience and/or training required. Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years general HR experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry. 
  • Any combination of education/experience which provided the skills necessary to successfully perform the functions of this position.
