Your Role

Ethics & Compliance Lead for CEVA US and Canada, serve as the primary point of contact, responsible for leading and actively contributing the development, implementation, and managing initiatives/projects by monitoring, participating, collaborating, facilitating developing, planning E&C initiatives and continued improvement of Ethics & Compliance projects and core program areas for the subregion, as well as ensuring strong business partnership and alignment with other functions.

Reporting to the Compliance Director, you are the leader driving the Ethics & Compliance culture in strong partnership with the Management of the respective markets in your subregion.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Strategy:

• Set, design, and drive the strategy for the E&C function and the related compliance program areas.
• Implement, tailor & adjust to local risk, and further develop & continuously approve the strategy and E&C program.
• Partnership with Business Development.
• Drive and foster effective partnership, proactive involvement in, and timely advice & support to business development.
• Excellence in partnership & support to our customers.
• Drive, foster, and actively contribute to ensure the needs of the Company’s customers are met & addressed with excellence from an ethics & compliance perspective.

Core Compliance Program elements:

Ensure core compliance program elements are implemented, continuously improved, and consistently matured as well as delivered with excellence.

• Compliance with risk assessment & management.
• R&P and procedures.
• Training and communications
• Confidential reporting structure and corporate compliance investigations.
• Third party management.
• Antibribery.
• Dawn Raid.
• M&A.
• Antitrust.
• Data Privacy.
• Global Trade Compliance - first approver of tailored made GTC tools.
• Reassuring alignment of the TMS Tools with GTC.
• Development of standards and related processes based on global policies, all applicable laws and regulations including local industry codes.

Leadership & Continuous development:

• Actively lead to ensure the team works as a "high performing team", being inspirational E&C professional and role model for others in the organization.
• Ensure self, team members, and the function overall stay abreast of regulations, jurisprudence, best practices, and innovations. 
• Excels in listening, has strong influencing and negotiation skills, has a can-do attitude, is able to roll up the sleeves to drive the implementation of agile and pragmatic solutions, and communicates effectively and concisely.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Compliance, Final, (and/or related field), Business Administration at least at Master Level.
• Experience and strong expertise in a similar role at global scale, ideally in a supply chain & logistics related company or a company with complex supply chain flows and compliance requirements.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

• Strong expertise (specific qualification desirable) and experience (at least two years) in two core compliance program areas and willingness to further develop two other areas:
  • Competition law, anti-bribery & human rights.
  • Global trade compliance.
  • Speaking up & corporate compliance investigations.
  • Data privacy, training & enablement.
  • M&A, healthcare compliance & industry specific regulations.
  • Conflict of interest.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

• High proficiency in English and ideally proficient in at least two other languages; Spanish preferred.
