We are seeking a skilled and professional Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for both emergency and non-emergency calls. You’ll be responsible for gathering accurate information, prioritizing calls, and ensuring the appropriate response is dispatched quickly and effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
As a Dispatcher, you will work closely with our response teams to monitor activity, transmit critical information, and support operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience in dispatch or a related role, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates strong multitasking abilities. Answer and manage inbound emergency and non-emergency calls
Collect and document caller information accurately
Prioritize calls by urgency and importance
Relay information to the correct department or response team
Dispatch units promptly to the appropriate location
Monitor the status and progress of response teams
High school diploma or GED required
Previous dispatch or related experience preferred
Strong typing and data entry skills
Knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
