About the Position:

As a Delivery Driver / Laborer, you’ll safely deliver precast concrete products to job sites throughout the Midwest, operating a manual 10-speed truck and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries. When not on the road, you’ll assist with shop operations, equipment maintenance, and fabrication tasks at our Ashley, IN plant. This position is ideal for a self-sufficient, safety-minded driver who enjoys both driving and hands-on work .

Compensation & Schedule - Avg $45,000 - $60,000/Year

• $0.64 per mile (Odometer reading)
• $18/hour for shop work (approx. 500 hours per year)
• Average Annual Earnings: $50,000+ (based on 2023–2024 averages)
• Mileage: ~60,000–80,000 miles per year (and growing)
• Full-Time, Year-Round Position
• Paid Holidays and PTO
• $500 one-time bonus upon completion of crane training
• A few overnights per month are required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver precast concrete products to job sites and company locations across the Midwest (IN, IL, IA, OH, MI, WI, MN)
• Operate manual 10-speed trucks safely and efficiently under DOT regulations
• Load, secure, and unload materials using forklifts or truck-mounted cranes
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain driver logs and records
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and project managers to ensure on-time deliveries
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning of trucks and equipment
• Assist in the plant with production and maintenance work during non-driving periods
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-the-road issues independently and safely
• Uphold Tribute’s standards for quality, safety, and customer service.

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A or B)
• Experience driving manual / 10-speed transmissions (required)
• Clean driving record (no moving violations in past 12 months)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Experience with forklifts and trailer-mounted cranes preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be willing to pass background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and dependable with a professional attitude
