Job Title: Computer Operations Support Technician Entry Level | 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM) Summary: Provides operational support for centralized computer systems, including monitoring production job cycles, responding to system prompts, and assisting with user and security operations. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently during evening and overnight shifts. Extended hours may be required to complete nightly processing. Key Responsibilities: + Execute scheduled production job streams and monitor system performance. + Respond to system or application prompts and log job statuses. + Analyze and resolve production support issues or escalate as needed. + Manage printed output and complete shift reports accurately. + Maintain focus and productivity while working independently. + Support system security operations and assist with documentation. + Participate in the development of job schedules and operational procedures. + Assist with nightly backup processes and form maintenance. + Provide training support to other technical staff as needed. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree OR equivalent technical/vocational training or experience (year-for-year substitution). + Experience in computer operations, programming, or systems analysis may substitute for educational requirements. + 1-2 years of experience in a computer production environment preferred. Skills & Competencies: + Troubleshooting and technical support + Computer operations and job scheduling + Strong customer service and communication skills + Familiarity with hardware, printers, and ticketing systems + Experience with office productivity tools and mainframe environments + Ability to work independently and maintain excellent attendance Additional Information: + Candidates must be committed to the schedule and capable of performing physical and technical tasks as needed. + Junior-level candidates with relevant IT training or experience are encouraged to apply. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
