Right at Home Long Island is looking for compassionate and experienced caregivers for immediate shifts. Home Health Aides, CNAs PCAs and companions will be responsible to assist clients with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, medication reminders, errands & shopping, and provide companionship one on one.
Hours:
We are seeking caregivers for live-in and hourly positions.
Live-in caregivers must be able to commit to two to four days living in the client's home. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for the client 24 hours a day although you will be able to take breaks during the day and sleep at night. Weekend availability is a plus. Hourly caregivers must have a valid driver's license as you will be asked to take your clients on errands such as doctor's appointments.

Requirements
We are interviewing immediately, looking to hire Home Health Aides (HHAs), Live In Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), & Caregiver Companions. Ideal candidates have:
• Must have patience and a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, as well as the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Must have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• The Caregiver shall have successfully completed a written competency evaluation, background screening, DMV screening, and a drug test.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
