Job Description
Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics
Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical duties will be as a Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at Jackson Main, Jackson South and Jackson North Hospitals providing medical care for neonates in these units on a 24 hour 7 days per week rotational schedule.
Provide antenatal consultation for high risk pregnancies
Care and stabilization of infants in the delivery room
Conduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal units
Administrative duties within the division and the Newborn Service
Teaching of residents, fellows and medical students
The position also requires development and participation in original research either clinical or translational for which extramural funding should be sought.
Requirements:
Active Florida Medical License
Board Certified in Pediatrics
Neonatal Board Eligible or Neonatal Experience Preferred
BLS
