• Overview
  Apparel Graphic Designer - Knitwear and Woven Graphic Design
• Description- Elizon Apparel is seeking an Apparel Graphic Designer to create and execute graphic-based artwork for Women's Young Contemporary Knit & Woven Top collection. Success in this position requires strong deadline management and the ability to produce graphic art for monthly collections. This opportunity is full time.
  Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with Design Director on creating color palettes, group concepts and overall direction of line development.
  • Create original artwork, layouts, and colorways for embroidery, screen prints, and textiles prints using a blend of traditional techniques and digital tools ensuring designs are on-brand and trend-appropriate.
  • Generate CADs to communicate print placements on garments and create clear, concise technical packages for artwork to be sent to vendors and factories.
  • Create CADs of flat sketches of the full collection to be used as selling tool and presentation to customers.
  • Stay informed on the latest fashion trends related to graphics, craft, prints, and color, incorporating them into designs while keeping the brand fresh and aligned with current trends.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design preferred
• 2-3 years of related industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and CANVA.
• Proven expertise in graphics, with strong hand-drawing/painting skills and digital rendering abilities
• A creative mindset with an understanding of the retail market.
• Excellent communication skills, with a flexible and positive attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Location
This position is based in our Los Angeles office with an in-office work requirement.
